With over 15 years of hands-on experience as a nanny, I've had the incredible opportunity to work with families all around the world. Each cultural encounter has shaped my understanding of childcare, and these diverse experiences form the foundation of what we offer at The Natural Nanny Collective.

To me, holistic parenting isn't just a philosophy; it's the essence of how we approach child development. It's about recognizing the intricate connections between a child's physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Our commitment revolves around prioritizing the whole child, understanding that each facet of their development is intricately woven together.

Being a mother has provided me with firsthand experience and insight into the challenges and joys of parenting. This understanding is woven into the fabric of The Natural Nanny Collective, ensuring that our services align with the genuine needs and desires of families. At our core, we are not just a childcare agency; we are a collective of caregivers who comprehend the intricacies of parenthood.

I'm a mom, a therapist, and for over a decade before that, I worked as a nanny myself. I know this job from the inside, not just from the parent's side of the table.

I met my business partner and closest friend, Cassandra, at a hiking meetup here in Colorado 15 years ago, and since then we've climbed things together all over the world, literally and figuratively.

I know firsthand how big a decision this is, hiring someone to help raise your kids. I've been the nanny walking into a new family's home, the parent looking for care, and now, as co-owner here, the person both families and nannies trust to make the right match.

That's why I personally interview every candidate myself. It's not a form, and it's not someone else on my team, it's me, getting to know who they are, not just what's on their resume. From there, I build a real relationship with each nanny, one that continues after placement too. I check in, answer questions, and I'm someone both the family and the nanny can call when something comes up. The placement isn't the finish line for me. It's the start of a relationship I stick with.

As a therapist, I also care a lot about how kids grow up: curious, active, and connected to the world instead of a screen. That's part of why Cassandra and I run this agency the way we do, with real relationships and real support on both sides of the match.

Relationships, trust and adventure form the framework of everything we do. It’s how we connect, grow, and support each other. Join the collective and be a part of this incredible journey that we call life.
